“In sleep, fantasy takes the form of dreams. But in waking life too, we continue to dream beneath the threshold of consciousness, especially when under the influence of repressed or other unconscious complexes”
“Problems of Modern Psychotherapy” (1929). In CW 16: The Practice of Psychotherapy. pg.125
you know, sometimes I dream and then don’t take that dream seriously until a few months later when I suddenly stop and think, “Hey, I’ve been here/I’ve seen this person/I’ve done this in my dreams months ago!
I know that my dreams have kept me going through unblievable and pizzare situations, it kept me alive and wishful, it kept my soul searching and my mind stimulated to overlook the stagnant reality, amazingly at the end, things have changed for the best, thank God for dreams and imaginations…
the wonderful thing about dreaming is that we can create our own world without any kind of restriction. and it is easy process too,, all we need to do is just imagining !
whenever i feel like that the reality doesn’t belong to me anymore, i try to build a new one in my imagination and i am really enjoying my life by doing that
