  • “I too don’t like the concept of everything happened for a reason or fate, the resaon -whatever it was- may take longer than our life time to be revealed” Hala Aldoseri commenting in one of Marahm post regard fate
  • “Oh, no! If people got to know each other before marriage, NO ONE would get married!” Marahm quoting her Egyptian’s friend during a lively discussion
  • “I have always said that Saudis should not complain about how hard it is to get a visa to any country as long as it is still extremely hard to get a visa to come here. The foreign ministry is not making a good point when they compare Saudis to citizens from other Gulf countries; these countries offer visas to EU citizens on arrival at the airport. It is all about reciprocity” from Ahmed Al-Omran post Visa Wars and Reciprocity
  • “It is probably best to believe that discrimination against, race, gender or faith would never change. To live in a remote state, while “others” fix the problem” said Aysha Alkusayer when she couldn’t enter the audition for a comedy in Riyadh after it has been announced that is is open for men and women
  • “We didn’t and still don’t know the truth about this country (Iran) and of its social and intellectual structures. I would say that I didn’t notice in those days when I walked between the exhibition halls and the streets of some of the popular markets and five stars hotels and popular restaurants and businessmen’ palaces, any manifestations of signs or indications of a strongly revere and sanctification of Khomeini and his group as we imagine*” said Yaser Alghaslan in his blog post Tahran as I see it (*translated by me)

The Six Quirks Tag

I have been tagged by fellow blogger’s Ahmed (Saudi Jeans). and you know, final weeks is the very good time for writing the quirks !

These are the rules:

  1. Link the person(s) who tagged you.
  2. Mention the rules on your blog.
  3. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
  4. Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them.
  5. Leave a comment on each of the tagged bloggers’ blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

My Six Quirks:

  1. I don’t like to interfere people’s personal life and I don’t like them to interfere mine as well. This is very big issue in my life. I have realized through my life’s experience that people like to talk crazily about the others just to fulfill the empty gaps that exist in themselves.
  2. I observe, I don’t judge! I love observing how do people change from one status to another, how do they look at pain and happiness, how do they get frustrated and how do they raise again above their depression. Basically, I try to analysis every behavior that i see in the ground, but i in the same i don’t like to judge people based on what i see or listen of them!
  3. I don’t really care of what people think of me. I don’t care if you think i am crazy, odd or stupid guy. I wasted a long time of my life trying to justify for people who I am. Now, i am not willing to repeat the same mistake again.
  4. I don’t believe in anything that is against my rationality and common sense.
  5. I am very contradictory person. I am divided into two sides and every one of them fight against another. Whenever i say something, my first side (1st ego) try to support me while my second side (2nd ego) try convince me that I am wrong!
  6. I don’t belong to any country, nor any religion, nor any sector! While people here and there are busying themselves trying to proof that this religion is wrong and that religion is right, i am trying to proof that i am human being!
