New Orleans and the upcoming storm

I am praying from all my heart that people who live in that area to come out safe and alive from this storm. Each life of these good people represent a treasure to us and loosing anyone of them is like loosing half of our selves.

my spiritual father, Buddha !

For those who don’t know me, i am someone who is totally inspired by Budha teaching!
i considered Buddha as my spiritual father.
here is one of his saying,,, please, please, please read it. it is really important that you recognize my attitude behind it!

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it”

after reading the quote, can you think any of our social issues in KSA or (in other countries) that can be related to the quote’s topic?

A Moment With Steve Jobs

I was reading the biography of Steve jobs. i was amazed by how he faced his struggles in his life. so i listened to his speech on YOUTUBE and i found this quote is so awesome
“No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true”
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
This was part of Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005
